FAQs

Must a participant raise a minimum amount to participate?

No, just the registration fee.

May I ride DART to the event?

Yes, please visit DART to check schedules and routes.

Can I bring my dog? 

Yes, as long as the dog is leashed and current on vaccinations. A $15 pet registration is applicable. Your dog will even receive a BONE-a fide ‘Hounds Hoofin’ for the Homeless’ pet bandana. Funds raised from the pet registration will go towards the operation of the kennel at The Bridge!

Will there be food available? 

Yes, paid participants can access the Walker's Lounge for snacks & water. In addition, area restaurants will be on site to provide "food tastings."

Where do I park? 

A free parking garage is below City Hall: park in the Green L1 level and access it from Young Street. If this garage is full, metered parking is available behind City Hall on Marilla Street. There are also private garages on Marilla, Young, and Ervay Streets

How long is the walk? 

Approximately two miles.
